Ranjit Bajaj invests in Delhi FC

After selling the entire stakes of Minerva Punjab FC to Roundglass, Ranjit Bajaj has now invested and taken over Delhi FC which plays in the Delhi Senior Division Side. Delhi FC is one of the premier clubs that plays in the top league of the city.

After exit from Minerva Punjab FC, Bajaj wanted to steer his way into the ISL, one of the top division in the country.

In between talks were also going on between Mr.Bajaj and Kolkata giant East Bengal FC, where he offered to buy out 70% stakes in the club but things did not work out.

So now with the ideology of improving the standards of the Indian football and uplifting the same, Mr.Bajaj has invested in Delhi FC.

Minerva has been very much successful in the club football category, with their academy highly successful in youth leagues, winning multiple silverwares at youth level across all age groups.

Minerva was also crowned the champions of I-League in 2017–18 season. They’ve always believed in promoting their academy players to the main team and continuous improvement.
